The atmosphere is the best! A really charming building and restaurant area. We really enjoyed our drinks! The food was decent too, I’d probably order something different next time. But there will definitely be a next time.

I was a little hesitant but I was with a local who took me here. From the outside you would never guess this trendy bistro is inside. Full bar dance drinks. Tapas or full meals. Try the guacamole (Spivey with a kick from a special spice), prosciutto, burrata cheese, figs and rocket lettuce, and bacon tacos. Wish the roof top was open but too cold.

The Cafe Belmonte is a cozy little coffee bar and restaurant. It is a little hidden in Barrio Antiqua. The outside doesn't show much flair but once inside, the atmosphere is completely different. The restaurant is nicely appointed. It's a little close but comfortable. This place is not wheelchair accessible and navigation inside would be a nightmare... The food was really good. The preparation and presentation were attractive. The flavors were robust and spicy. The highlight is the coffee bar!! Freshly ground and offered in a variety of preparations. French press, pour over, espresso, and more. Absolutely worth a visit!!

It’s unusual to find a “coffee shop” that has both good food and good coffee but this one was it! I loved the chilaquiles (not spicy) and the tacos regios. I even got one coffee to go and came back the next day to get another one. Try nutella latte if you like your coffee sweet.

This was the best breakfast we had while we were in Monterey. The service and atmosphere was exceptional. I tried the chilaquiles and they did not disappoint.

We came for breakfast brunch and coffee. Everyone’s coffee and dishes were great. Cute and classy interior. It was a perfect blend of modern and antique. They did a great job conserving the architecture used in this part of town with their exposed large blocks throughout the interior.

Lovely atmosphere, high-quality food, excellent service and a good selection of cocktails. This place is ideal for dinning, chatting and enjoying. I enjoyed the salmon tacos and would come back without a doubt. Highly recommend.

Surprising new star in centro of MTY. These cauliflower tacos are excellent, one of the greatest tacos I have ever had (and I am including meat tacos in there). Mango salad was solid also. This Oaxaca Rojo cocktail also a greatest of all time contender. Highly reccommend Cafe Belmonte Bar.
